Caped woman threatens violence

Kalispell Police responded to the 1100 block of Kenway Road at 11:47 p.m. Saturday after a woman said she wanted to kill herself and others. The woman had long blonde hair and was wearing a black cape.

A woman reported that a man was standing on a ladder in an alley trying to break into an apartment. The man was cursing. Police said the man locked himself out of his apartment and borrowed a ladder from a neighbor at First Avenue and Fourth Street West at 9:16 p.m. Saturday.

A man at a party said people were pressing buttons on his cell phone at 9:26 p.m. Saturday. Someone dialed 911 from his phone and then hung up.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at Hawthorn Avenue and Liberty Street at 11:23 p.m. Friday. A woman said that someone pulled up in front of her house, turned off the headlights and fired a shot. Police found no shell casings, but did find some vehicles in the area that had been egged.

A woman reported that her husband was yelling and throwing things on the lawn in the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue East at 8:09 p.m. Friday.

A woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 9:25 p.m. Friday.

The rear window of a woman’s black Ford Explorer was smashed in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue West at 11:59 p.m. Friday.

A gray Dodge pickup was idling in front of a bar in the 1700 block of U.S. 93 South for two hours at 4:40 a.m. Saturday. The man was asleep and had had too much to drink.

Police responded to the 700 block of Second Avenue East at 11:08 a.m. Saturday after television fell on a 1-year-old. The boy was breathing but not moving around. He was with a 10-year-old. The parents were not home.

Police responded to a report of three BB holes in a window at a business in the 100 block of West Idaho Street at 12:29 p.m. Saturday.

A man complained about his neighbor’s cat destroying his yard at 1:31 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of South Meadows Drive. It is an ongoing problem.

An iPod and subwoofer were missing from a white 1989 Mustang on Empire Loop at 2:53 p.m. Saturday.

A woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

Two women attempted to steal tequila and Absolut vodka in the 2200 block of U.S. 93 South at 4:06 p.m. Saturday. The women were unsuccessful in their theft attempt.

Someone siphoned gas from a woman’s vehicle in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue West North on Friday night.

Police spoke with skateboarders after they set up a ramp in the middle of the road at 11th Street and Fifth Avenue East at 7:56 p.m. Saturday.

Police arrested a man after a report of a physical disturbance in the 500 block of White Birch Lane at 10:44 p.m. Saturday.

A man threw a woman down in the kitchen of a home on Appleway Drive at 5:50 a.m. Sunday. The 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with partner/family member assault.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disorderly conduct call on Tamarack Lane in Columbia Falls at 4:21 a.m. Sunday.

Harassment was reported on Morning View Drive in Kalispell at 2:16 a.m. Sunday.

An assault was reported at West Springcreek Road in Kalispell at 2:02 a.m. Sunday.

Whitefish Police arrested a man after a traffic stop on East 13th Street at 11 p.m. Saturday. The man had a suspended license.

Someone reported an injured child in the back seat of a vehicle at Armory Road and Youth Lane at 7:21 p.m. Saturday. The caller was taking the child to the hospital.

A St. Bernard and a husky attacked two poodles  on Green Place at 3:58 p.m. Saturday.

Montana Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident at 3:37 a.m. Saturday on Farm Road near Courville Road in Lake County.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at mile marker 41 on U.S. 93 at 8:27 p.m. Saturday.
