Molotov cocktails reportedly found in alley

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of several Molotov cocktails found in an alley on Sixth Avenue East.

A driver at a business on U.S. 93 North accidentally stepped on the gas pedal and collided with an ice machine.

A camera was reported stolen from a home on Ninth Street West after it was found in a pawn shop.

On Third Avenue East, the owner of a Ford Mustang accused the city’s street sweeper for damaging the vehicle. It was later determined that the sweeper could not have caused the damage.

A wallet was found on South Main Street.

Two girls were caught shoplifting at a business on Hutton Ranch Road. An employee had to detain one of the girls when she attempted to run. The 16-year-old was arrested for theft.

A 15-year-old runaway was found by his father at Glacier High School.

A verbal disturbance was reported on First Avenue West.

A man seen peering into vehicles on Second Avenue West was reported as suspicious.

On U.S. 93 North, a man called to report he was going through withdrawals after he quit drinking alcohol.

Two men and two women were involved in a fight at a business on First Avenue West.

A caller on Second Avenue West reported hearing five gunshots.

Loud music was reported on Liberty Street and College Avenue.

A 34-year-old man was detained for a mental health evaluation on U.S. 2 West after he reportedly attempted suicide by jumping from a building. He was not seriously injured.

On Sixth Avenue East North, a woman reported that her neighbor was blowing leaves on to her lawn.

A man on First Avenue East asked officers to check on his father after he received a phone call from him asking for help. The father later told officers he needed help with plumbing, and was not having any health problems.

A motorist reported a fellow driver for having an open container of alcohol on U.S. 2 West.

Someone put firecrackers in a mailbox on Leisure Drive, causing it to catch fire.

The Whitefish Police Department received reports of criminal mischief on East Second Street where windows were broken out of construction equipment and on Central Avenue where another window was broken.

An officer took keys from an intoxicated woman on Central Avenue.
