Missing items found at pawn shop

On Saturday, a man told Kalispell Police he found some of his property at a pawn shop on East Idaho Street.

Two “kids” returned $770 worth of merchandise to a store on Hutton Ranch Road and purchased three handguns at 5:11 p.m. Saturday.

A man allegedly assaulted a woman on Looking Glass Avenue.

A $300 hunting knife was taken from a truck Saturday night in the 700 block of Woodland Avenue.

Kalispell police responded to the 300 block of East Idaho Street at 8:15 a.m. Sunday after a man drank a bottle of vodka and wasn’t doing very well. The man had release papers from the hospital from earlier in the day. He was kept in the police lobby until he sobered up. The hospital refused to readmit the man.

A water line was broken and water was coming out in the 400 block of Second Avenue West North at 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

A man reported items were stolen from his vehicle on Honeysuckle Lane Sunday at 10:34 a.m.

A man was passed out in the restroom of a gas station in the 1300 block of U.S. 93 South at 11:49 a.m. Sunday.

Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of East Oregon Street at 12:08 p.m. Sunday. The man later found the items near a Dumpster close to his house. Nothing was damaged.

A man found a rifle leaning up against a fence at the entrance to College Avenue at 1:44 p.m. Sunday. The rifle was placed in safe keeping.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded after a vehicle struck a deer at 7:03 a.m. Sunday. Another vehicle attempted to elude the deer and rolled. There were no injuries. The accidents took place at mile marker 62 on U.S. 93.

Someone reported an assault at a party in the 39600 block of Apple Road west of Polson at 4:38 a.m. Saturday.

There was a fight in the Lake County jail at 9:34 p.m. Saturday. No one wanted to press charges.

Montana Highway Patrol responded to a crash after a hit-and-run on Spring Prairie Road near KM Ranch Road at 7:19 p.m. Saturday.
