Suspect sought after stabbing

The Kalispell Police Department responded after a man walked in a bar on First Avenue West after being stabbed. The knife was still lodged in his midsection when a bartender called 911. Officers were seeking a suspect described as a Hispanic man, about 5-foot-7 with dark clothing. The man’s injuries were not life-threatening.

After someone left her purse at a bar on Airport Road, an employee found a spoon and white powder inside and called law enforcement.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence and a 20-year-old man was arrested for obstructing law enforcement after the woman allegedly struck a vehicle four times and fled. They were found a short time later in a parking lot on East Idaho Street.

Panhandlers were reportedly annoying customers at businesses off of U.S. 93 North.

Two men were reported as suspicious on East Center Street after a caller said they appeared to be on drugs.

A girl was reported as a runaway on Sunny View Lane after she didn’t return from a trip to the movies.

On North Main Street, a hotel employee reported seeing a man urinating in the area.

A man got angry and broke down a door after being asked to leave a building on Sunny View Lane.

A vehicle collided with a building off of U.S. 93 North.

On Third Avenue West North, a parent called when a 16-year-old daughter locked herself in the bathroom and refused to come out.

Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Summit Ridge Drive.

A Jeep was reported stolen on Appleway Drive.

The Whitefish Police Department conducted a welfare check on two apparently drunk men seen stumbling down East 13th Street. They were found safe inside a casino.

A wallet was found in a parking lot on Flathead Avenue.

Gunshots were heard near Fox Hollow Lane.

Drunk people were allegedly being belligerent and littering on U.S. 93 South.
