Sheriff's detectives seek C. Falls casino robber

Detectives with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a casino robbery that occurred Saturday afternoon in Columbia Falls.

According to investigators, an unknown suspect entered the Glacier Gold Casino on Osprey Business Court just of U.S. 2 at about 4:50 p.m., demanded cash from an employee and fled.

The suspect’s height is estimated to be 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 3 inches. A release from the sheriff’s office didn’t indicate whether investigators believe the suspect was male or female.

The individual was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and a baseball hat while carrying a black backpack with white or gray striping.

The suspect is described as having what appeared to be a mole below the left eye.

Investigators believe the suspect fled in a white, two-door convertible with what appeared in surveillance footage to have blue and green decals extending from the doors to the rear tires of the vehicle.

The car was recorded approaching the casino at 4:46 p.m. and leaving at 5:02 p.m.
