Complainant ends up getting arrested

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a woman on U.S. 2 East near Hungry Horse after she reported her father allegedly stole her vehicle three years ago. The woman, who had outstanding arrest warrants, was allegedly intoxicated.

Several flashes and large explosions reported near U.S. 2 East near Columbia Falls were determined to be fireworks, which are legal in county limits.

A resident of Edgewood Drive said a person in a Snowcat was trespassing.

On Belton Stage Road in West Glacier, a woman reported suspicious circumstances and told a dispatcher she would be holding a firearm until deputies arrived.

A man allegedly punched a woman in her stomach during an argument on Springwood Lane. The case is under investigation.

A hit and run was reported near U.S. 2 East in Evergreen after someone collided with a fire hydrant and drove away from the scene.

Hunters were reported missing by someone on Truman Creek Road. They were later found.

A hitchhiker on Wolfpack Way had an outstanding warrant, but he was not taken to jail. He made arrangements to take care of the warrant.

A man at a business on U.S. 2 West near Columbia Falls left after an employee reported he had been there for about a week.

The Whitefish Police Department spoke to a woman on Baker Avenue after she reported that an intoxicated man walked into her home seemingly convinced he lived there. She persuaded the man to leave. He was last seen knocking on her neighbor’s door.

A snowplow collided with a car on private property near U.S. 93 South. The driver of the car was not insured.

Residents of Waverly Place were asked to turn their music down after complaints from neighbors.

The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run collision reported near the intersection of West Reserve Drive and U.S. 2.
