Stolen items see quick turnaround

Kalispell Police arrested a man at 4:13 p.m. Saturday after a woman reported that her jewelry was stolen Friday night. She went to a pawn shop and found that a suspect had pawned the items.

Police responded to a report of a theft by a girl from the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road Saturday afternoon. The girl was with two guys with backpacks.

A manhole cover was off at the Fifth Avenue and West Arizona Street intersection at 5:17 p.m. Saturday.

A boy was arrested for shoplifting at 9:53 p.m. Saturday at First Avenue East North.

A man was arrested for drunk driving following a two-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of Bluestone Drive at 10:12 p.m. Saturday. A man was bleeding from the head after a head-on collision. Two Dodge pickups were involved.

Police responded to a motel in the 300 block of North Main Street at 11:27 p.m. Saturday after a woman came to the front desk and asked for police. A man was arrested and charged with partner/family member assault and tampering with a communication device.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Airport Road at 12:40 a.m. Sunday after a "large male biker" had an altercation with another man, who was bleeding from the head. Parties were separated and medical care was declined.

A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police responded to a report of a fight in the 400 block of West Idaho Street at 2:07 a.m. Sunday.

Police responded to the 1900 block of Greatview Drive at 12:24 p.m. Sunday after a man reportedly took $1,100 and his 14-month-old girl from her mother. The man and woman live together, are not married, have no parenting plan and no law was broken, the dispatch narrative said. The woman was advised that she could fill out a witness statement if she wanted to follow through on the theft report.

Lake County Sheriff's Office arrested a 37-year-old man at 7:01 p.m. Saturday after he was charged with assault on a minor in the 44700 block of Foothills Drive in the Ronan area.

A man was transported to St. John's Hospital after a one-vehicle rollover at 2:44 a.m. Saturday on Bull Lake Road in Lincoln County.

Someone reported that a vehicle was in the ditch on Farm to Market Road near Church Drive at 9:33 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was out of gas.
