Herbert W. Hanson, 72

Herbert W. Hanson, 72, of Kalispell, devoted husband, father and

grandfather, died March 16, 2011, at his home in Colwich, Kan.

Services were held on March 19.

Herb was born in Superior, Wis., to Walfred and Minnie

Hanson.

He retired from the Air Force, Flight Safety International and

Boeing. Herb retired to Kalispell in 2000.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Ellen; sons Michael

and Suzie, and Chris and fiancee Jamey; daughters, Margo and Edwin

Rufle, and Jane and Ragan Jacquart; 10 grandchildren; four

great-grandchildren; and sisters Madeline Bridge and Marilyn

Iverson.
