Lame duck causes park argument

Kalispell Police responded after a woman argued with a man over a wounded duck outside a bar in the Woodland Park area at 5:22 p.m. Saturday. The duck had a bloody head and twisted leg.

A woman complained that a man was threatening to take some things he purchased for her at a coffee shop on Center Street and Seventh Avenue West at 2:38 p.m. Saturday.

A 15-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting in the 20 block of North Main Street. The juvenile was released to his mother.

A gold Pontiac van left without paying for $30 worth of fuel in the 2400 block of U.S. 93 North on Saturday.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting in the 1400 block of First Avenue East on Saturday.

Tires were slashed on a 2002 Volkswagen on First Avenue East.

A 9-mm Springfield XDM semi-automatic pistol and a Taurus Judge 45/410 revolver were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue West on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

A man reported that a woman on probation keeps calling and texting him.

Someone parked a semi-truck in front of a neighbor’s residence in the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue East.

A woman on Whitebark Lane reported that a neighbor’s dog “is always loose and doing his duties in her yard.”

A cell phone salesman in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road was showing a customer a phone and accidentally hit the emergency button.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man on a warrant for partner/family member assault at 8:11 p.m. Saturday on Old Paint Trail.

A Bigfork man on La Brant Road reported that someone in a plane flew 200 feet above his house on Saturday.

An 11- or 12-year-old boy’s face was burned on Middle Pierce Lane in Bigfork at 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Another boy apparently threw gasoline on a burning piece of paper and the fire blew up into the boy’s face. The incident was accidental.

Drugs were found on an inmate Saturday in the Kalispell jail on South Main Street.

A child was bitten by a dog on Silver Leaf Drive on Saturday.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Saturday in Coram after he allegedly shoved his mother on Moose Street. The incident occurred at 4:32 p.m. and the boy took off into the woods. He later returned to the home. He also is wanted for a probation violation.

A 15-year-old female ran away from Park Street in Kalispell at 11: 15 p.m. Saturday.

A man who had been drinking allegedly assaulted someone and left the person with a face laceration at 1:52 a.m. Sunday at a residence on Shady Lane. The victim did not want to press charges.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Polson bar at 12:29 a.m. Sunday after a man was jumped by several individuals. One man was arrested.

A man reported that his girlfriend struck his vehicle with her vehicle early Sunday morning in Ronan. The man had minor injuries from the hit-and-run incident and was met at the hospital by Ronan Police.

A man crossing the road near a Charlo grocery store Sunday afternoon reported that a black pit bull with a purple collar was chasing him. The man kicked the dog in the head. The dog could not be found when officers arrived.

An intoxicated woman reported that she was beaten up and kicked out of a vehicle on U.S. 93 in Pablo at 11:01 p.m. Sunday.

Montana Highway Patrol took reports of hit-and-run accidents on Solberg Drive at 1:14 p.m. Monday and on Pheasant Drive at 7:41 p.m. Saturday.
