Police can't find stabbing victim

The Kalispell Police Department was unable to find the victim of a stabbing who walked out of Kalispell Regional Medical Center at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The man, who has several warrants for his arrest, was last seen wearing blue shorts and a white shirt. He reportedly still had staples in his stomach and an IV in his arm.

An officer responded to Third Avenue West where a 17-year-old girl reported that her 16-year-old brother was throwing large firecrackers at her.

A woman on East Washington Street said she was being threatened by someone on Facebook.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old for violating a protection order at the intersection of Fifth Avenue West and Sixth Street West.

A pair of sunglasses was stolen from a vehicle parked on Birchwood Court.

A woman on Second Avenue East said she was only arguing with a man after a neighbor reported she had been beaten up.

Someone stole a wallet from a locker room on Sunny View Lane.

Officers were unable to locate a man seen punching a woman near the intersection of Fifth Avenue East and 13th Street East.

Two iPods were stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot off of U.S. 2 West. Someone broke a window to gain access to the vehicle.

A teenage boy was arrested after fighting another boy at Woodland Park. The mother of one of the boys reported the fight after taking her son to the emergency room.

One person was injured when a pickup truck rolled onto its side at the intersection of First Street West and Ninth Avenue West.

An intoxicated woman was given a ride home after a driver reported she was almost hit by a vehicle near Eighth Avenue East.

An officer stopped a vehicle on West Idaho Street after the occupants reportedly stole pinwheels that were on the lawn in front of the Flathead County Courthouse. They agreed to return them.

Two men walked out of a business on West Idaho Street with a 30-pack of beer. The theft was recorded by surveillance cameras.

White powder believed to be cocaine residue was found in a bathroom at a business on U.S. 93 South.

A man at a business on U.S. 93 North said his in-laws made disparaging comments about him to a coworker.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a woman at an apartment complex on Crestview Drive in Bigfork who said she stepped out of the shower and saw a neighbor standing in her apartment without her permission. The man later said he had shown the woman a “security breach.” The woman didn’t want to pursue charges.

Someone on Glades Drive near Whitefish reported that a stolen snowboard was returned.

A man on South Main Street said his ex-wife stole $500 from his bank account and used it to pay a phone bill.

Suspicious activity was reported on U.S. 2 East after someone said three vehicles had been rummaged through. Nothing appeared to be missing.

At a home on Montana 35, a woman said a man burglarized her home and stole $400 and prescription medications.

Another “pop bottle bomb” was reported on Grizzly Way outside Kalispell. The small explosives, which have been reported at various locations around Kalispell, are made up of tin foil, a bottle and chemicals.

Deputies helped arrest a man for a probation violation on Third Avenue East.

Mailboxes were destroyed on Columbia Falls Stage Road.

Extra patrols were requested on Lake Blaine Road after a homeowner returned to find signs that someone had attempted to enter the residence.

Criminal mischief was reported on Drake Drive after a caller said someone came into his or her house and tossed belongings outside.

A man agreed to get a motel room after a woman inside the Whitefish Train Depot reported he was yelling and trying to get inside the building.
