Pursuit yields stolen barbecue grill

The Kalispell Police Department investigated an attempted theft of a barbecue on Eighth Avenue East North. A man said he saw people trying to steal the barbecue and gave chase. It fell out of their vehicle near Montclair Drive, and the man recovered it.

An iPod, wallet, cash and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business on Hutton Ranch Road after someone shattered one of the vehicle’s windows. A checkbook was taken from a vehicle parked at a restaurant on U.S. 93 North and a window was broken. A third shattered vehicle window was reported on Hutton Ranch Road where a wallet was stolen.

A teenage boy and a teenage girl were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol after officers responded to a fire in a garbage can on Fourth Avenue West.

A boy at a school on Northwest Lane reported that someone stole his iPod from his backpack while he was in gym class.

Disorderly conduct was reported on Glenwood Drive where a man reported that his sister damaged his guitar. The woman agreed to move out of her brother’s home.

A woman was cited and released after she was caught shoplifting at a business near U.S. 93 North.

Officers investigated a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of West Reserve Drive and U.S. 93 North. Witnesses said a white pickup truck crossed two lines of traffic and sideswiped another vehicle before driving away. There were no injuries.

Someone stole a computer and television from an apartment on Ninth Avenue West.

Two men were seen shooting a BB gun in Woodland Park.

A woman on Sixth Street West reported that her husband was drunk after he drove away from their house.

On Seventh Street West, a woman reported receiving four phone calls from someone who says “you are going to die” before hanging up. She said she assumes the person has the wrong number.

Suspicious activity was reported on Third Avenue East, where a caller reported that a man was sitting in a vehicle and honking its horn. He told an officer he was trying to get his wife’s attention.

A man on South Woodland Drive reported that a group of youths dumped their garbage on his property.

A woman went to the Kalispell Police Department on First Avenue East and reported that her friend is a prostitute.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office took a report after responding to a physical disturbance involving a weapon on Parliament Drive.

A possibly drunk driver was reported on Hungry Horse Dam Road.

Suspicious activity was reported on Willow Glen Drive.

Disorderly conduct was alleged on U.S. 93 South in Lakeside. Deputies were unable to find the suspect.

Criminal mischief was reported on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell.

The Whitefish Police Department received reports of theft on Wisconsin Avenue, Railway Street, Scott Avenue and U.S. 93 South.

Noise complaints were reported on O’Brien Avenue and Colorado Avenue.

Harassment was reported on Lupfer Avenue.

An arrest was made after suspicious activity was reported on Central Avenue.

Injuries were reported after Montana Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash at the intersection of Kila Road and Smith Lake Road at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

A hit-and-run collision was reported near Whitefish at the intersection of Fawn Trail and Butterfly Lane.
