Man abuses woman, door and truck

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report of a physical disturbance at a Cayuse Lane residence Sunday night that involved an intoxicated man who had pushed and shoved a woman, broke a door before leaving and wrecking his truck off Lake Blaine Road.

A person calling from Harmony Road in Evergreen reported that a son had beat up his sister, possibly her hand. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There was a report of a suspicious person lingering around a home on Blacktail Road Sunday night. It turned out to be a woman who had been reported missing on March 29. She was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.

There was a report of a mysterious green Ford Taurus being abandoned with no plates at the entrance to the Flathead River Ranch in Hungry Horse.

There was a burglary at a business on U.S. 2 in Evergreen with items missing from an office.

Kalispell Police got a report of an aggressive pit bull being at large on Vanderbilt Drive that is scaring children in the neighborhood. A responding officer found that the dog is indeed not friendly, and the owner was given a violation notice for having a dog at large.

There was a report of a possible sexual assault in the Lakeside area, so initial investigators referred the matter to the sheriff’s office.

After a report of a physical disturbance between a man and woman on the 400 block of North Main Street, the woman was arrested.

At about 2:20 a.m. Monday, a man called from the 40 block of 10th Avenue West to report that a man was trying to force his way into the home through a back door. The reporting party had a 9mm pistol at the ready, and when officers arrived, they found that the intruder was an intoxicated man who thought the house was his. He was transported to a residence on Glacier Street.

A person calling from the 600 block of West Arizona Street reported a home break-in that happened sometime Saturday night.

There was a report of items being stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Sixth Avenue East sometime Sunday night.
