Driver supposedly was brandishing pistol

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified after the driver of a blue car on U.S. 93 South was reportedly seen waving a pistol out the window of the vehicle while driving. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies recovered a vehicle reported stolen from a construction site in Columbia Falls.

A woman on Nicholson Drive reported that her 13-year-old grandson fled her home and tried to climb over a fence in her back yard in an attempt to avoid school. He eventually was taken to school.

A student on Farm to Market Road near Whitefish was sent home with his father after allegedly assaulting three different teachers.
