Man arrested after reported spat

Kalispell police officers arrested a man for partner/family member abuse after he allegedly attacked a woman at a home on Mountain View Drive at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. After hitting the woman, he fled with a 12-inch kitchen knife. He was arrested less than an hour later.

A caller on Fifth Avenue East accused neighbors of tying strings to wind chimes to make them noisy at night. The caller was apparently intoxicated.

A resident of Canvasback Court reported a possible scam.

At a hotel on First Avenue East, a caller reported that man was being unruly and threatening employees. He was told not to return.

Officers were unable to locate a boy seen climbing a fence at the fairgrounds on North Meridian Road.

A man reported that his sister was being harassed during class at Flathead Valley Community College.

A man on Merganser Drive accused his wife of hiding his belongings from him.

Trespassing was reported at a homeless shelter on Ninth Avenue West where a man was cussing loudly in a hallway and refusing to leave. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Three teenagers, all wearing sunglasses, were accused of trespassing at an event on North Main Street.

A woman on 10th Avenue West asked for information on obtaining a protection order against her father. She said he was sending threatening text messages to her husband.

An Xbox gaming system was reported stolen on U.S. 93 South.

After allegedly punching a lamp and assaulting his wife, a man on Appleway Drive accused his wife of having drugs in a dresser.

Officers interceded when a man and woman were seen arguing at the intersection of South Main Street and Second Street West. The man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

An apparently intoxicated man on First Avenue East North was reportedly yelling for no reason. Officers determined he was doing no harm.

Someone shattered a window on a delivery truck on Seventh Avenue West North.

A man on Third Avenue East said his wallet was stolen while he was at work.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of harassment on Columbia Avenue.

A fight was reported on U.S. 93 South.
