Wife reportedly takes broom to husband

Kalispell Police Department officers responded to the 100 block of Jackson Peak Drive at 6:42 p.m. Saturday after a man said his wife hit him with a broom and her hand. 

A man who thought he had suffered a concussion in a fight at a bar in the 1400 block of Airport Road called to report that the bouncers did not assist him at 2:18 a.m. Sunday.

A pit bull and four puppies were running loose in the 50 block of Ashley Creek Lane at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

A 19-year-old suspect was arrested for stealing candy bars from the 50 block of First Avenue East North at 4:07 p.m. Saturday.

Two teenage girls stole a pair of shoes from a store in the 2300 block of U.S. 93 North at 4:08 p.m. Saturday.

A man was arrested at 9:08 p.m. Saturday after the gray Mercury he was driving struck a light pole on the corner of College Avenue and Conrad Drive.

A woman came home to the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue West at 1:16 a.m. Sunday and found the front door open. When she went upstairs she heard someone run out of the front door. Nothing was missing.

A young Irish setter was chasing squirrels at Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street East at 9:04 a.m. Sunday.

A woman in the 700 block of Eighth Avenue West reported at 11:09 a.m. Sunday that she had a verbal altercation with a man after his dog pooped in her yard. The woman gave the man a bag, and he refused to clean up after his dog.

Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a burglary on North Hilltop Road at 7:39 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal mischief and trespassing were reported on Willow Glen Drive Saturday afternoon.

An assault was reported on Blacktail Road in Lakeside at 12:01 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers responded to an assault on Baker Avenue at 10:33 a.m. Saturday and a fight on Wisconsin Avenue at 8:22 a.m. Sunday.
