Willis 'Bill' Martinson, 85

Willis "Bill" Martinson was born Aug. 24, 1925, in Ismay, Mont., and passed away April 18, 2011, in Spokane Valley, Wash.

Bill owned Bill's Real Estate, Kalispell, and Club Rocco, Hungry Horse. After moving to Spokane, he bought the Phase II which he had for 10 years, and later bought the Bronco Inn which he had for six years. Bill also worked many years for Gordon Curry Realty.

He is survived by his wife, Rae Marie Martinson; two sons, Bruce and Brett Martinson; one daughter, Angie Martinson; seven grandchildren, Willie, Shannon, Morgan, Laura, Evan, Alesha and Winter. He is also survived by three sisters, Opal Larson of Montana, Ann Lucas of Montana, and Della Dooley of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nels and Elsie Martinson; sister, Elnora Hall; and four brothers, Elford, Glen, Carl and Lloyd.

There will be a memorial service for Bill at 4 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the VFW Post 1435 S. 212 David St., Spokane Valley, Wash.,
