Fireworks fun continues in Whitefish

The Fourth of July may have been almost a month ago, but the fireworks celebration continued in Whitefish Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers responded to two reports of fireworks, one at 10:38 p.m. on River Lakes Parkway and the other at 10:49 p.m. on Wisconsin Avenue.

Police also received two reports of criminal mischief at 9:18 a.m. on U.S. 93 South and on Baker Avenue at 2:41 p.m.

A theft was reported at 10:43 p.m. on Central Avenue.

Two noise reports were filed at 10:56 p.m. on Iron Horse Drive and at 12:15 a.m. Sunday on Suncrest Drive.

Suspicious activity was reported at the city shop at 3:38 a.m.

Multiple thefts were reported to the Kalispell Police Department during the weekend.

A Wii and about a dozen games were reported stolen from an unlocked auto at 5:39 p.m. Saturday on Hutton Ranch Road.

Shoes, a dress and binders were taken from another unlocked auto at 6:22 p.m. on Hutton Ranch Road.

Fishing gear, a GPS, a Bluetooth and $20 was stolen from a possibly unlocked car on Third Avenue West Sunday afternoon.

A bicycle was stolen sometime Saturday night on Getty Drive, its owner reported.

Another bicycle was reported stolen Sunday morning, but it was taken few days earlier from Eighth Avenue East.

A fight was reported on Fourth Street West at 3:43 a.m. Sunday.

A woman was reported for trespassing on Fourth Avenue West at 9:25 p.m. Saturday.
