<p>With 30 years experience in skydiving and more than 1,600 jumps under his belt, Joe Pete still celebrates after a good jump Friday morning during the Lost Prairie Boogie.</p>

<p>Bowman Lake begins to light up, revealing low clouds and fog, shortly before sunrise on Thursday in Glacier National Park. The scenic lake can be reached by traveling up the North Fork Road to Polebridge and then following a six-mile road to the lake.</p>

<p>Lee Secrest removes bark from a log at his home north of Polebridge on Thursday. In the background is Secrest’s studio that he describes as “hippie house” style — something that has been added to over the years.</p>

<p>Secrest uses a chain saw as he begins to shape a log into one of his spherical sculptures on Thursday. All of Secrest’s pieces are handmade using chain saw, chop shaw and planer before being sanded and finished.</p>
