James Wesley 'Jim' Swartzenberger, 56
James Wesley “Jim” Swartzenberger, 56, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Kalispell.
Jim was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Kalispell, the son of John and Isabel (Riggins) Swartzenberger.
He married Vicki Buck in Kalispell on May 30, 1980.
Jim was self-employed for the past 30 years in the wrecking yard business. He was the owner of Tri-City Wrecking Inc. in Kalispell.
Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his wife, children and grandchildren. Family was the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Isabel; stepfather, Tex Meyer; brother, Dale; nephew, Patrick; and sister-in-law, Ruthie Buck.
Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Vicki, of Kalispell; daughters, April and husband Mike Stanisich, DawnD and partner Clayton Kjensrud, and Joni and husband Kevin Rohletter, and son, Jason Swartzenberger, all of Kalispell; brothers, Danny and wife Linda Swartzenberger, John “Butch” and wife Sandy Swartzenberger, and Ronnie and wife Debbie Swartzenberger; sister, Barb, and husband, Jack Fleming; brother, Joe, and wife, Barb Swartzenberger; sisters, Donna and husband Nick Aemisseggar, Dana and husband Art Toren, Debbie Koski and Lori Barrett; brothers-in-law, Doug, Ken, Ron and Bob Buck; sister-in-law, Josie Buck; grandchildren, Cruz and Chassity Stanisich, Nathan, Tanner, Tahja and Takoda Rohletter, and Casson and Julia Stadick, and unborn grandson, Miken Kjensrud; uncle, Wes; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
A potluck celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 6, in the basement of the Eagles Lodge.
