On 2nd visit, cops shut down party

Kalispell Police officers shut down a party near the intersection of Youngs Lane and Willow Glen Drive late Friday night after the attendees refused to be quiet after an initial visit by police. A neighbor said a group of youths ran when police arrived, but returned as soon as the police were gone and made disparaging comments about law enforcement.

A man renting a room at a home on Fifth Avenue West called police when fellow tenants came in his room without permission and began yelling at him.

An officer spoke with a man who was seen riding a bicycle, drinking a beer and yelling at people in a parking lot near North Main Street Friday night.

On Duke Drive, a woman reported that her son was sending threatening messages to her on Facebook from his home in California.

Concerned neighbors called 911 after hearing what sounded like a man shouting at a child inside a home on Third Avenue East. An officer responded and learned it was two brothers fighting.

A bicycle was reported stolen on Eighth Avenue West.

Officers responded to the intersection of Eighth Street West and 12th Avenue West after someone reported seeing a man walking around with a rifle Friday at about 9:30 p.m.

An apparently intoxicated and shirtless man was seen walking into traffic at the intersection of Appleway Drive and North Meridian Road.

On Liberty Street, a caller reported seeing “two bloody people” at a neighbor’s house. The residents told an officer they were arguing, not fighting.

Suspicious activity was reported on Parkway Drive after a man saw a guy wearing camouflage tapping on his daughter’s bedroom window at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

A man on East Washington Street called police after his mother-in-law refused to leave the home early Saturday morning.

At an apartment complex on Appleway Drive, a woman reported seeing a man standing naked in his apartment through a window. An officer advised the man of the issue and he subsequently closed the blinds.

Someone at Woodland Park reported seeing a duck or goose that was tangled in a net.
