Several items stolen from unlocked rig

The Kalispell Police Department received a report after someone stole an iPod, cellphone, sunglasses, necklace and a wallet containing a Social Security card, driver’s license and $50 from an unlocked vehicle parked near a business on Hutton Ranch Road Friday night.

A man seen panhandling at the intersection of U.S. 93 North and Hutton Ranch Road was accused of being a distraction to drivers Friday at about 6 p.m.

At a home near the intersection of East Center Street and Fourth Avenue East, a woman said that her sister’s boyfriend assaulted her sister and stole her money Friday night.

A caller on Carnegie Street reported that a dog in a nearby apartment had been howling and barking for three days while its owners were out of town. A neighbor gained access to the apartment and closed the windows.

The owner of two dogs on Harrison Boulevard was cited after the apparently aggressive dogs prevented someone from getting to their front door.
