Susan S. Maisch, 57

Susan “went to be with Jesus” on Aug. 13, 2011, leaving behind her two beautiful daughters, Angela and Juliet. They also love the Lord and have the certainty they will see their mom in Heaven.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother Sam, age 60; and is survived by her sister Jean, 65.

She was born on a farm in Pennsylvania where she loved to hang out in the barn, lost with her pet chickens and kittens.

She moved to the Flathead Valley in 1987 where she was married and gave birth to her daughters. The girls will always treasure the Christmas decorating, the birthday parties, even the Halloween “haunted house” atmosphere. Their home was a place where all their friends could hang out and Susan loved to entertain them. She always had a smile for all and her sense of humor kept them coming back.

She battled a painful illness this summer but didn’t let that stop her from meeting her goals of quality time with her daughters and getting closer to the Lord, who she is with now.

Services were held Aug. 16 at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
