Vandalism reported at Bigfork concession stand

The latest in a recent string of vandalism incidents was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after a concession stand on Commerce Street in Bigfork was damaged. Someone kicked in a door, broke windows and stole keys sometime Tuesday night.

A caller on Kelley Road in Columbia Falls complained that his or her neighbors release pit bulls any time prospective buyers come to look at property that is currently for sale.

On First Avenue in Hungry Horse, a caller reported that a neighbor threatened to kill him. The argument apparently began when the man’s child attempted to gift a Powerwheel vehicle to the caller’s child.

Gunshots were reportedly heard by a woman on Grand Vista Drive who suspected someone was hunting a fox in the area.

Someone siphoned gasoline out of a truck at a business on East Reserve Drive. It’s the sixth time gasoline theft has been reported at the business.

An abandoned kayak was found floating near the center of Flathead Lake.

A camper, SUV and several kayaks were egged in an apparent act of criminal mischief on Somers Road in Somers.

A man who said he was assaulted at a bar on Electric Avenue in Bigfork decided he wanted to pursue criminal charges against the alleged assailant.

Cash, a passport and a backpack were among several items reported stolen from a vehicle on U.S. 2 East Tuesday morning.

Employees at a business on U.S. 2 East reported that a disorderly man was refusing to leave. He was gone when deputies investigated the report.

Burglary was reported at a home on Conrad Drive where a neighbor told the owner that two people had been seen entering Tuesday afternoon.

A woman on Eighth Avenue East said someone was threatening to kill her father.

Theft was alleged on Ashley Lake Road where a caller said someone used a stolen ax to damage a sign.

A mailbox was egged on Fourth Avenue West North in Hungry Horse.

A man on U.S. 2 West requested that deputy stand by as he collected the mount of a 32-pound pike from his ex-wife’s house.
