Joseph Strauss, 88

Joseph Strauss (Straszewski), 88, passed peacefully on Aug. 18, 2011, at Sylview Healthcare Center in Sylvania, Ga., following a lengthy illness.

Joseph was a longtime resident of Ocala, Fla., and was married to the late Frances Duncan, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

His brother, Daniel and wife, Laura Straszewski of Kalispell, and many nieces and nephews survive him.

Interment will take place at the Good Shepherd Memorial Garden in Ocala.
