2 men sought in ongoing vandalism case in Bigfork
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people in connection to a rash of vandalism in Bigfork.
A warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Eddie Wayne Dolzadelli, while 18-year-old Dale Bowen is wanted for questioning, according to Sheriff Chuck Curry.
Dolzadelli has been charged with criminal mischief for allegedly causing thousands of dollars of damage throughout Bigfork in the last several months.
According to court documents, the owner of a business on Electric Avenue said she was awoken by the sound of someone breaking flower pots at about 2:45 a.m. June 21.
She later discovered that someone had pushed over a statue that landed on and destroyed several pots, causing some $1,200 in damage.
A responding deputy patrolled the area and found a broken glass door at Persimmon Gallery. A concrete bird bath had been thrown through the door, according to court documents.
A third business also reported damaged property the same day.
On July 20, someone destroyed two picnic tables at Bigfork High School and broke the windshield of a bus belonging to Flathead Valley Community College.
The most recent vandalism was discovered Aug. 16 at Bigfork High School.
“They made forced entry into the school and did some damage inside — a couple thousand dollars in damage — and stole a few items,” Curry said.
An investigation led to Dolzadelli being identified as the suspect in the vandalism, according to court documents.
A conviction for felony criminal mischief is punishable by up to 10 years in Montana State Prison and a fine of $50,000.
Deputies are asking anyone with information on the men’s whereabouts call the Sheriff’s Office at 758-5585.
