Reported crime, heart attack untrue

The Kalispell Police Department was notified when a woman on East California Street attempted to make a citizen’s arrest at about 12:20 p.m. Saturday and later claimed to be having a heart attack. An officer responded and learned there had been no crime and no heart attack.

Disorderly conduct was reported on Second Avenue West North after an intoxicated man allegedly pushed someone over and bit someone else at about 5:30 p.m. Friday. The victims declined to pursue charges.

A man on Ponderosa Street said that his former daughter-in-law stole medication while staying at his home. He asked that she not be allowed to return.

At Woodland Park, a caller suspected that a group of about 20 youths were exchanging drugs and money Friday at about 6:30 p.m.

Someone who was delivering groceries to the Flathead County Fairgrounds Friday night reported that a vehicle was stolen. It was found only a few minutes later.

After approaching a man seen choking and slapping a child on Third Avenue East North, a caller said the man attempted to run him or her over with his vehicle.

A woman on Third Avenue West said someone threw all her belongings out of a moving van.

A man found asleep in brush along West Idaho Street Friday night said he was intoxicated and taking a nap.

A loud party was reported on Cedar Commons Lane.

Someone egged a vehicle parked on North Meridian Drive.

Reckless driving was alleged at the intersection of Grandview Drive and U.S. 93 North after a caller said someone was following his or her vehicle and throwing water balloons.

A woman who called 911 and threatened to kill herself — saying she was holding a pen to her neck — ran when officers approached her behind a business on U.S. 2 West. She was eventually caught and taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

A man was arrested after a fight was reported on First Avenue West at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.

Outside a bar on Woodland Park Drive, a caller said that an enraged and intoxicated man ripped a mirror off of a woman’s vehicle at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

A purse was found near a Dumpster on Fifth Avenue East.

An employee at a fast-food restaurant on U.S. 2 West said a female driver collided with the awning and broke a light.

Trespassing was reported after an intoxicated man threatened employees at a business on U.S. 93 South and refused to leave. Officers arrived and told him to move along.
