Stolen car was hotwired
The Flathead County Sheriff's Office got a report Sunday from a man who said his Honda was stolen from a Mission Trail address. He called back later to report that he located the car at an eatery on West idaho in Kalispell, and that ignition wires had been pulled out to hotwire the vehicle.
A man reported that his neighbors on Goat Trail in the Whitefish area were shooting arrows recklessly, with one ending up in his yard.
A Hoffman Draw resident reported that his neighbor shot the windows out of his truck sometime Saturday night.
There was a report of a boat being abandoned for several days at the Sportsmen's access on the Flathead River.
There was a report of a motorcycle and other items being stolen from a home on Twin Lakes Road in the Whitefish area.
A woman reported that she had been assaulted by another woman somewhere along U.S. 2 between Glacier Park International Airport and Montana 40.
Someone reported that there have been as many as 18 dogs living at a trailer home on Conrad Drive.
A woman calling from First Avenue South in Hungry Horse reported that her house and vehicle had been paintballed, and while she was outside the suspects who did it drove by again, shooting her in the leg with a paintball.
A person reported that a vehicle window had been shattered and a purse was stolen while the car was parked at a church on Whitefish Stage Road.
There was a report of tires being slashed on a vehicle sometime over the weekend at a Montana 35 address in Evergreen.
A person reported that four rifles had been stolen from a River Bend Drive residence in the West Glacier area sometime over the winter.
A man reported that the windows to his vehicle were broken out and it was dented by large rocks while he was fishing on the South Fork Flathead River in the Hungry Horse area.
The owner of a property on Twin Lakes Road in the Whitefish area reported that a neighboring property owner somehow tore out a gate as part of an ongoing property dispute.
A man reported seeing a man in his underwear in a van down by the Flathead River near Hungry Horse, and the reporting party claimed that the underwear guy had exposed himself to a group of women floating past on the river.
A woman reported that her neighbor witnessed someone break into a shed on her property on East Evergreen Drive, and that a neighbor had scared the person off.
There was a report of a person stealing two bags of ice from a store on U.S. 93 North of Kalispell.
There was a report of an out-of-control teenage girl beating on her mother at a South Hilltop Road residence in the Columbia Falls area.
Early Monday, at about 1:30 a.m., there was a report of several people fighting along U.S. 2 West of Columbia Falls, but it turned out to be just a verbal disturbance.
