Evergreen schools offer adult ed classes

The Evergreen School District will offer a variety of adult education classes throughout the school year. The classes are free and cover topics ranging from computer basics to dance to parenting.

The first class is a Love and Logic Parenting Class, which will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 27 through Nov. 1.

Dance class will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays from Jan. 9 through Feb. 13.

Fly tying will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 10 through Feb. 21. There will be no class Feb. 14.

Digital photography class will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays from Feb. 6 through March 5.

Computer basics will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 7 through March 13.

Scrapbooking and card making will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays from March 22 through April 19.

Participants in this class will need to bring 30 to 40 photos with them.

A golf class will be offered at some point in the late spring.

The district also will offer two GED classes, one in the fall and another in the spring. Dates for the spring class have yet to be determined.

The fall class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Oct. 4 through Nov. 10.

Fliers and registration forms are posted throughout the Evergreen community.

They also are available at East Evergreen Elementary, Evergreen Junior High and district administrative offices.

Participants must register in person at the junior high.

Space is limited, so those interested are urged to sign up as soon as possible.
