Trevor Dale Mead, 31
Trevor Dale Mead, 31, of Bozeman, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011.
He was born Oct. 20, 1979, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Russell Mead and Denise MacDonald. Trevor's father was career Air Force and the family lived in many places. Trevor and his family moved to Hungry Horse when Trevor was in junior high. Trevor attended high school at Eagle Alternative High School in Coram.
During his life he was a great carpenter, water damage restoration technician and explosive technician.
Later Trevor settled in Bozeman. In earlier years Trevor was an artist and created the drawings for his tattoos.
Trevor met and fell in love with Meghan Mohr, and together they had two sons, Hayden, born in Seattle in 2005, and Damien, born in Livingston in 2008.
Trevor's greatest joy was spending time with his boys, taking them camping, fishing and barbecuing. He played on the VNEA pool league in Bozeman.
Trevor was an amazing person, outgoing, funny and loved by many. He so loved to make people smile; he often sent jokes out via his cell phone. But most of all, he was an awesome father to his boys.
Survivors include his boys, Hayden and Damien, of Bozeman; his mother, Denise MacDonald, of Hungry Horse; his father, Russell, and Rachael Mead, of Marysville, Wash.; brothers, Justin and Aaron, of Bozeman; stepbrother Henry Wint, and niece and nephew Silvie and Jeffery, all of Marysville; grandmother, Marjorie MacDonald, retired judge of Columbia Falls; Meghan Mohr, mother of Trevor's children, of Bozeman; grandmother, Alice Mohr, of Livingston, and grandfather, Papa Mike Mohr, of Livingston.
A celebration of Trevor's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the South Fork Saloon in Martin City. A potluck will be served.
