William Eugene Arend Jr., 53

William Eugene “Bill” Arend Jr., 53, passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, in Rollins.

Bill was born on Jan. 17, 1958, in Terre Haute, Ind., to William E. and Zona Louise Denginger Arend. He attended schools in Mount Vernon, Ind.

William worked in the construction field as an insulator. He enjoyed karaoke, horseshoes, fishing, football, and was also a NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Arend Sr.

William is survived by his mother, Zona L. Arend, of Indianapolis; daughters, Toni May Arend and Amber Louise Arend; five brothers, Bob, Joe, Nailer, Jasper and Lindell Arend; sister, Kathy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

William was loved by many and all that he touched.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Lakeside Community Chapel in Lakeside. A potluck reception will follow the service.
