<p>Jeannie Sattler of Whitefish works in her kitchen on Wednesday afternoon preparing vegetables and making salsa to sale on Saturday at the US Troop Fund Bake Sale at Army/Navy of Whitefish. The sale is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds will be used to purchase and ship supplies to troops and schools in Afghanistan. Also at the bake sale people can view and buy raffle tickets for a quilt that will be raffled at noon on September 11 at the Whitefish VFW. Sattler has volunteered for the bake sale for four years. Later this week she'll be working on bananna nut bread and cherry pie, also for the sale.</p>
