Glacier, Stillwater spikers triumph
MISSOULA - Glacier's volleyball team overcame a slow start to dispense with Missoula Hellgate 21-25, 25-10, 25-19, 25-18 in Western AA play on Tuesday.
Glacier (2-1 overall, 1-0 league) was led by Cassidy Hashley with 10 blocks. The Wolfpack had 17 as a team.
"She had a great night," Glacier coach Christy Harkins said.
"She did a great job controlling the net."
Harkins also had high praise for two more players.
"She dug up some amazing balls, was very consistent in the back row," Harkins said of Emily Gilbertson.
"My setter, Hannah Liss, did a great job of running the offense."
Lexy Boschee had 12 kills for the Wolfpack.

Flathead JV 0
Stillwater Christian School improved to 2-0 with a 25-12, 25-11, 15-7 victory over the Flathead JV in a nonconference matchup.
Jordan Danz led the Cougars in kills (10) and digs (8) and shared the lead with Sarah Paolini in blocks (2 each).
Morgan Paolini had team highs in set assists (17) and aces (2).
"The team played well offensively with only two attacking errors," Stillwater coach Dave Shawback said.
"We also served aggressively, but consistently at 92 percent for the team."
