Ingvald A. 'Wally' Sagen, 78
Ingvald A. “Wally” Sagen, 78, passed away of natural causes at his home on Nov. 30, 2011, in Kalispell.
Wally loved when anyone called him grandpa. He worked in the timber industry and retired in 1995 after 20 years with Western Building Center. Wally loved to work in his wood shop making Toys for Tots and other requested projects from friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Brendan House for the opportunity for Wally to visit and volunteer his time. His time spent there was a joy to him.
Wally was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Sagen; mother, Mabel Mohn; father, Arvid Sagen; a brother, Ellis Sagen; son, Gary Sagen; son, Richard Sagen; and stepdaughter, Wanda Ferguson Hansen.
He is survived by his brother, Bruce Sagen; his sister, Arlyne Beito; sons, Roger Sagen and Rodney Sagen; stepsons, Matthew and Wendell Hansen; grandkids, Amanda, Dominic, Kevin, Kristen, Rachel, Sarah, Spencer, Tony, Corey and Jake; and several great-grandkids.
Memorial services for Wally will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
