Stevi blows by Columbia Falls in boys basketball

WHITEFISH - Stevensville had too much balance offensively for Columbia Falls to contend with Saturday on the final day of the Northwest/Southwest Tip-off Tournament.

The Yellowjackets, led by Jesse Sims' 18 points, cruised to a 67-48 victory.

Josh Schultz added 15 points for Stevensville (2-0), while Jared Schultz had 11 and Austin Kelling 10.

Columbia Falls (1-1) was outscored 33-20 in the final half.

Anthony Correa, 13 points, and Austin Barth, 12, led the way for Columbia Falls.

Eli Mathias, nine points, was the top scorer for Anaconda (0-2).

Whitefish bolted to a 42-19 halftime advantage and never looked back.
