Polson ranked 6th, Libby 10th in mat poll

Two local Class A wrestling teams are among the top 10 in the coaches' poll released on Thursday. The Polson Pirates are No. 6 and the Libby Greenchain is No. 10.

Laurel, Corvallis and Havre are the top three.

Two local wresters are ranked No. 1 in their respective weight classes. They are Carlos Quinones of Polson, 112 pounds, and Kyle Leir of Libby, 145.

Polson's other ranked wrestlers are: Dylan Moll (119), Craig Feistner (125), Drew Fouty (130), Alex Nystrom (140), Jared Young (145), Mike Devlin (152), Marlin Burke (189), Josiah Clairmon (285) and Conner Rehm (285).

Also ranked for Libby are: Mitch Haugen (130), Dylan Berget (160), Austin Bailey (171), Gunnar Moe (189) and Zach Dolezal (215)

Columbia Falls' Cody Hader (125) and Kohl Thompson (152) are also among the top wrestlers in their weight classes.
