Resident fears connection to attack

The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a resident of Sixth Avenue East who found a card taped to her window and wanted to know if it was related to the home invasion and attack earlier in the week.

A man reported seeing another man riding a bicycle that had been reported stolen. When he confronted the man, the cyclist rode off. The man believed he might have been headed to a supermarket to sell DVDs in the parking lot.

A man in his 20s was reportedly selling movies in front of a store on Third Avenue East North.

A shoplifter was reported at a store on U.S. 93 South. It was reported that the shoplifter left in a vehicle that had been spotted in two other shoplifting cases.

A man was arrested on a proposed charge of partner or family member assault after allegedly tackling his girlfriend at a location on North Meridian Road.

A theft was reported on Wolfpack Way.

Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman for violating a restraining order by sending texts to and calling the reporting party.

It was reported that parents on South Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls were supplying alcohol and marijuana to teenagers between the ages of 14 and 15, one of whom had assaulted the caller’s son.

A dark brown 1993 Dodge Caravan was reported stolen from Lupine Ridge Road in Kalispell.

A resident of Halfmoon Road in Columbia Falls reported his son stole $900 from him.

It was reported that someone threw an object through a window on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls.

Hockey equipment and money were reported stolen from a vehicle on Church Street in Bigfork.

An iPod docking station was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Arbour Drive in Kalispell.

The office of a senior citizens’ center on Commerce Street in Bigfork was reportedly broken into.

The Ronan Police Department located an incident of assault after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Second Avenue South West.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of theft on U.S. 93 South.
