Emma Andrews and Tess Brenneman scored 11 points each and the Flathead Bravettes rolled to a 58-25 nonconference basketball victory over Northwestern A Libby on Saturday night at Flathead High School.

The Bravettes (2-1) put the press on early and got a ton of transition baskets - they led 19-2 after the first quarter and 32-12 at half.

"We scored most of our initial points off (the press). Offensively, I thought we played better, took better shots and were a little bit more consistent," said Flathead coach Karly Tait.

"I thought our defensive pressure was also pretty good," she added.

She complimented the efforts of Andrews, Brenneman and Brittany Earnest "but I really think everybody contributed. Everybody played, got minutes. It was a total team effort," she said.

"They're well-coached and they always play hard," Tait said of the Loggers. They play really intense defense. They have some young kids who will help them in the next couple of years," Tait said.

Hannah England led the Loggers with eight points.

Next up for Flathead is a Tuesday trip to Whitefish.
