Teen reports fake photographer

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a 16-year-old resident of Wildebeest Lane in Marion that she has been receiving emails from someone pretending to be a photographer who wants to take nude photos of girls.

The resident said she found the Facebook page for the actual photographer and realized it was not who had been contacting her. The person began by asking for modeling shots, then nude photos and then asked if she and her boyfriend would like to make a pornographic video.

A resident of Pine Court in Lakeside reported hearing a rifle shot and that a bullet had grazed the back of a truck.

A resident of Whitefish Stage Road in Whitefish reported hearing and feeling large explosions. An investigation turned up several people legally shooting at exploding targets.

A resident of Twin Bridges Road in Whitefish reported hearing a machine gun fire between 35 and 50 rounds nearby.

A woman was arrested after deputies responded to a welfare check in Kalispell after the principal of a school said a third-grader hadn’t been in school since Oct. 10. The principal said there was possible drug activity at the residence. The Child and Family Services Division of the Montana Department of Health and Human Services were contacted to help with two young girls.

A sexual assault was reported.

A woman reported that a man ran from a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen and tried to get into her vehicle for a ride.

A person waved down a deputy after locating a Glacier Bank money bag with 91 cents inside sitting in a parking lot. The bag was identified as the type used by a local bar.

It was reported that teachers were frisking children before they were allowed to use the restroom at a school on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell.

It was reported that someone in a white Chevrolet Blazer was looking in mailboxes on Anderson Lane in Kalispell.

An engine hoist and stand and ice-fishing equipment were reported stolen from La Brant Road in Creston.

A purse was reported stolen from a locked vehicle in an unlocked garage on First Avenue West in Kalispell.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department cited and released one girl and three boys after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Northland Drive.

A woman was arrested on a warrant on College Avenue.

A female employee at a coffee shop on West Center Street reported her tips were stolen by several men she believes have stolen tips there in the past.

A .22-caliber antique pistol stamped with “Military High Standard,” an iPod and a radar detector were reported stolen from a vehicle on Fifth Street West.

Welding leads and two wrench sets were reported stolen from a location on Fifth Avenue East.

A business on Hutton Ranch Road reported two thefts.

Speakers were reported stolen from a vehicle on Ponderosa Street.

Sunglasses and a flashlight were reported stolen from a vehicle on Sixth Avenue West.

A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle on Eighth Avenue West.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that a .22-caliber rifle was stolen from a truck on Martha Road.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of assault on Waverly Place.
