Harry James Spear, 85

Harry James Spear, 85, passed on Jan. 15, 2011.

Wonderful memories and accomplishments will be remembered.

Harry was born May 2, 1925, in Flathead County to Irvan Spear and Nina Croskrey Spear.

He joined the Army in World War II, followed by a tour in the Navy.

Harry was a local logger in Montana for many years.

Fishing, hunting and fishing were his passions. He traveled to Alaska and many other fishing holes around the country, always making great friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Lois James.

Harry is survived by his brother, Glen Spear; daughter, Vicky Wassberg; stepdaughters, Kay Beyer and Cathy Foote; and several other loved ones.       

Harry died with his fishing boots on.
