Lost out-of-bounds skier located

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding a lost person who was skiing out of bounds near the Blacktail Mountain ski area. The man had a portable radio with him and was eventually located and escorted to safety.

There was a report of a pickup truck in a precarious position on Patrick Creek Road, partially hanging over a roadside ledge. A wrecker driver ended up picking up the truck and the driver.

A man calling from Badger Hollow Trail in the Marion area reported that his neighbor has been leaving threatening messages on his phone, and he returned a message in kind, but did not want to be seen as the bad guy in the dispute.

A man calling from Vant Sant Road reported that his ex-girlfriend was changing his personal accounts and his passwords, and he called back later to report that she was taking belongings from his residence but he couldn’t do anything about it because she has a restraining order against him.

There was a domestic disturbance report from a Panoramic Drive address involving a husband and wife arguing and the man being locked out of the house because he was threatening to physically remove her mother from the residence.

A woman calling from the Kila area reported that a man driving a Chevrolet pickup truck tailgated her and flashed his lights, prompting her to pull over. He told her he was an off-duty officer, accused her of being drunk, told her he had her on video and to remain at the scene until an officer arrived. She said she didn’t believe him because he didn’t have a badge, so she drove off to a friend’s house and reported the “very strange” incident.

There was a report of a man refusing to leave the porch of a woman’s home on Conrad Drive. He was escorted by a deputy to a nearby bar.

A person called from Great Falls to report that a woman was being beat up by her boyfriend at a residence on Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse. It took a while for deputies to find the right place, but when they did the parties involved were separated.

Someone calling from the 100 block of Buffalo Stage Road reported that two tires on a vehicle had been vandalized.

A woman calling from East Arizona Street said she was frightened after hearing something hit her front window. It turned out to be an egg.

Officers responded to a report from the 100 block of Lambert Court involving a woman who went to a neighbor’s house, saying she had been assaulted at her nearby home by her fiance. The man was apparently arrested for partner-family member assault.

Someone was apparently arrested on the 1400 block of Third Avenue East after officers responded at about 10:15 p.m. to a hit-and-run report involving a vehicle that was spinning brodies in a parking lot before getting stuck.

Early Monday, at about 2 a.m., a person calling from the 20 block of Third Avenue East said his neighbor asked him to call the police regarding a possible break-in. Officers determined there was a break-in, with entry made through a window.

A woman calling from the 300 block of Second Avenue West North reported that a man who had been drinking was trying to break a window at her house and was threatening to slash her tires. The man left before an officer arrived.
