Glacier boys knock off Sentinel
MISSOULA - Trey Griffith scored 12 points and had four assists and Kyle Griffith added 11 points and three steals as the Glacier Wolfpack downed host Missoula Sentinel 48-42 on Tuesday.
The win avenged a 17-point loss earlier this year to the Spartans.
"The kids did a great job! They came down and competed really hard," said Wolfpack coach Mark Harkins.
"We are a better team now, as far as we trust each other," Harkins said of the difference between this game and the loss.
"We're looking for each other and our team defense is much better," he said.
"We're a better basketball team now."
Colter Hanson pulled down seven rebounds for Glacier.
All in all, the Wolfpack (9-6, 5-2) had 14 team assists "which is a great night. We had a lot of guys looking for the open guy," the coach added.
The Wolfpack plays host on Thursday to Missoula Big Sky.
