Charles Gary Winters, 64

Charles Gary Winters, 64, of Missoula, formerly of Whitefish, passed away Feb. 5, 2011, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, due to complications from cancer.

He was a lifetime member of the VFW, and a longtime member of Whitefish Moose Lodge 642.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lulu Belle and Charles Winters.

He is survived by his wife, Iola Johnson Winters, of Missoula; children, Yvonne and Luis Haas, Chuckie and Patty Winters, and Cyndi and Tony Adams, all of Fernley, Nev., and Teresa Simpson of Great Falls; brother, Jerry, and Michelle, of Vancouver, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place with Burial Society of the Rockies.
