Paul Allen Roberts, 53

Paul Allen Roberts died Feb. 2, 2011, at his home in Kalispell.

He was born in Kalispell on Dec. 27, 1957, to Henry and Bonnie Roberts.

Paul loved the mountains and beauty of the Flathead Valley, living here for almost his entire life. His family and friends knew him as Paul, Pauly or Paulywog. He was known to be witty and always had a smile on his face. He loved to reminisce about family, friends and days gone by.

Paul worked as a logger for many years and was highly respected as a skilled timber faller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bonnie Roberts, and one brother, John Roberts.

He is survived by two children, a daughter, Melissa Roberts of Kalispell, and a son, John Roberts of Reno, Nev.; a sister, Christine, and her husband, Gary Simonson, of Chinook; and his brother, Duane Roberts, of Polson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a graveside service in the spring at Lone Pine Cemetery and the time will be announced at a later date.
