Officers investigate reported assault

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies, responding to a report of a physical disturbance on Parliament Drive outside Kalispell, found a 39-year-old female with a swollen face. The woman said she was assaulted by a male relative.

A wallet was found near Montana 35 in Evergreen.

A deputy responded to a home on Whitefish Stage Road after a verbal disturbance involving an unruly 17-year-old boy was reported. The boy’s grandparents said he was recently arrested and he was angry because they wouldn’t allow him to drive his vehicle.

Suspicious activity was reported on Lake Drive near Columbia Falls after a caller said a sled went missing.

Someone damaged a fence on Sweetgrass Lane outside Kalispell.

Fraudulent credit card purchases were reported on East Reserve Drive.

A teenage girl was taken to juvenile detention for a mental evaluation after becoming violent and disruptive at a home on U.S. 93 South in Lakeside.

Identity theft was reported by someone on Lake Loop Drive in Kalispell.

At a home on Fourth Street West North in Columbia Falls, a caller wanted to know how to remove his or her son’s pregnant girlfriend.

A civil complaint was filed by a man on Somers Road who said his son’s landlord was holding his boat as collateral after evicting the son.

Deputies searched for a possible drunk driver on Montana 83 in Bigfork after someone reported seeing a man drinking beer while pumping gas.

A man on Vonderheide Lane said his ex-wife was refusing to let him leave. The woman called later and said one of their children was in her ex-husband’s vehicle and the other was in her vehicle. She wanted a deputy to mediate an exchange.

Kalispell Police Department officers received a report of harassment on Farview Drive where a man said someone threatened to murder him in a message on Facebook. He said he is no longer friends with the man on the social networking website.

A 16-year-old girl was reported to police as runaway by a parent on Fourth Avenue West after she walked away from school.

A man was in the process of leaving a home on Two Mile Drive when an officer arrived after a caller reported he was intoxicated and pounding on a neighboring door.
