Man wants marijuana returned

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report from a man shortly after his release from jail Sunday who was complaining that his medical marijuana was not being returned to him by detention staff because his medical marijuana card had expired. He was advised that it would be disposed of after 24 hours.

A man calling from Derns Road reported that trespassers drove onto his property, got out and walked around until his dog barked at them, prompting them to get in their vehicle and leave. They also left a cell phone behind, which the man was keeping in custody.

A person reported that a lock had been cut off his storage unit in the Marion area and someone took items from the unit and put a different lock on the door.

A person called from U.S. 93 south of Whitefish to report that a vehicle had been loaned to a person who is now refusing to give it back.

There was a theft report from U.S. 2 in Evergreen involving a neighbor who had allegedly been stealing firewood.

A person calling from Mountain Meadow Road reported finding the site of a party sometime Saturday night where alcohol bottles, as well as a cell phone, had been left behind.

Someone reported that a red Suburban was being recklessly driven down Main Street in Kalispell, forcing several vehicles off the road and continuing southbound on U.S. 93.

There was a report of firewood logs being “all over the highway” on U.S. 93 near Olney. Citizens ended up getting them off the highway.

After a pedestrian stop on Montana 35 early Monday, at about 1 a.m., a woman was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for unknown reasons and was later transported to a hotel in Kalispell.
