Patrick Michael Duffy, 57
Patrick Michael Duffy, 57, “entered a place of peace” on Dec. 27, 2010.
Patrick was born March 5, 1953, in Kalispell. He spent most of his childhood years in Kalispell and Bigfork, graduating from Bigfork High School in 1974. He entered the Navy and served two tours on the U.S.S. Ranger.
After many adventures he met the love of his life, Robyn, and they wed on Nov. 11, 1989, where he embraced an instant family. Loving the Flathead, Patrick moved his family back to his roots in Kalispell.
Patrick was a faithful employee at KRMC in the nutrition department for the last of his culinary career. He filled the kitchen with his voice, sharing his love of music.
Patrick enjoyed scenic drives with his wife. He was an avid Cowboys fan, passing down his love of football to his son and grandsons. The light of his life was his six grandchildren whom he adored. A true family man.
He is survived by his loving wife, Robyn; his mother, Donna Wiemann; daughter, Mindy Hartigan, and her children, Makayla and Kyler; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kylene Hartigan, and their children, Kaleigh and Alexus; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Nahum Tkachyk, and their children, Kendall and Blake; brothers, Mitch Duffy, Sam and John Darling; Chayne Caswell, who he considered a son; and many others that called him “Pops.”
“Life isn’t fair. As Pat would say, ‘It’s not a fair, it’s a circus.’”
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Stillwater Lutheran Church.
Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for the family.
