Kalispell police arrest rowdy couple

Kalispell Police officers arrested a man and a woman at 4:33 a.m. Sunday after responding to a call about a disturbance with a weapon in the 1700 block of U.S. 93 South. A 20- to-25-year-old man was standing outside a door yelling and waving a pistol. Officers were unable to locate the gun. The man had a warrant for theft and the woman had a warrant for possession of intoxicating substances while under the age of 21.

A woman was arrested for driving under the influence in the 1600 block of U.S. 93 South at 8:32 p.m. Saturday after she drove a white Suburban into a fence and walked into a casino. The 31-year-old woman has two previous DUIs.

Police responded to the 300 block of North Main Street Sunday after a man was cut on the arm and slurring his words. It was a possible assault at 2:53 a.m.

A woman complained about her driver’s side window being broken and a purse stolen from a red Toyota Sienna van in the 200 block of Sunnyview Lane at 9:42 a.m. Sunday.

A man came into the hospital emergency room and said he had been struck by a vehicle at 9:44 a.m. Sunday.

A man was standing outside a business with a pit bull in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 6 p.m. Saturday. The dog almost bit a girl. The parent confronted the man and he got belligerent.

A man said a woman who has been living in her school bus in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue West was without heat. The woman said she is fine, had plenty of wood and has lived in the bus for years.

Someone complained that a neighbor was setting off fireworks on Garland Street and Sherry Lane at 8:17 p.m. Saturday.

A woman reported that her 3-year-old stepson was being sexually abused by his mother’s boyfriend in Butte.

A woman said a man borrowed her computer and printed some suspicious stuff that appeared to be gibberish.

Whitefish Police responded to a physical disturbance at 7:17 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 93 West.

A fight was reported on Central Avenue at 2:05 a.m. Sunday.

Trespassing was reported on Spokane Avenue at 2:23 a.m. Sunday.

A theft was reported on U.S. 93 South at 2:24 a.m. Sunday.

Hit-and-run accidents were reported to the Montana Highway Patrol as follows:

• Sunday at 1:56 p.m. on Willow Glen Drive near Concord Lane;

• Saturday at 6:14 p.m. on Big Mountain Road;

• Saturday at 11:35 a.m. on U.S. 2 West; and

• Saturday at 1:54 p.m. on Martin Road near U.S. 2.
