Unwelcome 'renter' gets the boot

Kalispell Police Department officers responded to a report of a trespass in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue West at 2:57 p.m. Friday. A woman reported that someone was living in her house that was for rent.

A theft of an iPhone was reported from a high school in the 300 block of Wolfpack Way at 2:54 p.m. Friday.

A disorderly conduct was reported after a male student targeted another student with racial slurs in the 300 block of Wolfpack Way at 2:57 p.m. Friday.

A man found that the door to his home had been kicked in on Fifth Avenue East at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

A woman said that $200 was stolen from her purse in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 6:31 p.m. Friday.

A woman said that $40 was stolen from her apartment in the 700 block of Liberty Street at 5:02 p.m. Friday.

A teenage girl said she found stolen property in her vehicle in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue East at 6:22 p.m. Friday.

A man complained about his ex-wife texting him in violation of a temporary restraining order in the 1100 block of Third Avenue West at 7:59 p.m. Friday.

Someone reported that a pickup truck keeps parking in a handicapped space in the 100 block of First Avenue West.

An employee theft was reported in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 10:15 p.m. Friday.

A silver Dodge Ram diesel pickup was driven into a fence  and a man was honking the vehicle’s horn in the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue East at 1:12 a.m. Saturday. The man, who appeared to be intoxicated, was arrested.

A man broke some glass in the 200 block of Heritage Way and was using the broken glass as a weapon. The man was bleeding and had hit his head on the wall. The man was taken to the hospital.

A woman shoplifted at a store in the 1300 block of U.S. 2 East and was getting combative in the parking lot at 11:18 a.m. Saturday.

A man complained about a neighbor’s black dog defecating in his yard. It is an ongoing problem in the 200 block of Farview Drive. The dog’s owner was counseled.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a physical disturbance on Spring Hill Road in Kila on Friday at 12:35 a.m.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on Oldenburg Road in Somers at 2:42 a.m. Friday.

A report of a suspicious person was made on Montana 40 West in Columbia Falls at 5:29 a.m. Friday.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 45-year-old man and a 47-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 6:31 p.m. Friday after a cinder block was thrown through an apartment window in the 400 block of First Street East in Polson.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for assault at 6:45 p.m. Friday at a hardware store in Ronan.

Deputies responded to an harassment call at a preschool in Polson at 8:01 p.m. Friday.

An assault was reported in the 800 block of 15th Avenue East in Polson at 5:42 p.m. Friday.

Thefts were reported in the 33300 block of Terrace Lake Road in the county and in the 50200 block of U.S. 93 in Polson.

Whitefish Police took reports of a theft on U.S. 93 South at 12:56 p.m. Thursday and a burglary on U.S. 93 South at 9:11 a.m. Friday.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers responded to an injury accident at 10:54 a.m. Saturday at mile marker 46 on U.S. 2 in Lincoln County.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at 2:51 a.m. Friday on Montana 82 near Oldenburg Road in the Somers/Lower Valley area.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on Third Street in Eureka on Friday.
