Marijuana 'caregivers' haul nature's bounty

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Monday regarding three men carrying pot plants up a road near Nicholson Drive. The three men reportedly got mouthy with the reporting party when he confronted them, claiming they are card-carrying “caregivers.”

A person calling from a property off U.S. 93 North reported that he had been bitten by a dog and the dog was suspected of killing livestock. The dog was taken to the county animal shelter.

A woman calling from the Lakeside area reported that she had received an anonymous letter that threatened her life.

A man reported there were three cows on his property on Plantation Drive that do not belong to him. The owners of the cows were notified and they intended to round up their livestock.

There was a verbal disturbance between a man and a woman on Blackies Bay Road in the Bigfork area involving a missing cell phone.

At about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, a woman showed up at the county jail to turn herself in on a felony Flathead County warrant.

Kalispell Police got a report Monday at about 10 p.m. from the Hutton Ranch Plaza from the owners of a vehicle who claimed they had caught a man attempting to break into their vehicle. Officers ended up arresting a man, 23, for criminal trespass to a vehicle.

A woman called from Seventh Avenue West to report a possible burglary, because it appeared a screen door had been tampered with.

There was a report of a purse being stolen from a vehicle while parked in a driveway on Appleway Drive.

A big box store on U.S. 93 North reported that someone had broken into the back of the store sometime over the weekend.
