Glacier High School wants to fill its gym with Wolfpack fans when its basketball teams take on the Libby Loggers Friday.

To help attract families, the student council and activities program are hosting the fourth-annual Pack the Place event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday.

The event, for Glacier’s partner schools and their students in kindergarten through sixth grade, includes a carnival in the commons area.

Glacier’s student council has provided passes so those students may enter the games free and play one free carnival game. Other carnival games cost 50 cents each; there will be eight carnival stations, all of which have prizes.

Children who don’t attend one of Glacier’s feeder schools are welcome to attend the carnival as well but must check in at the ticket booth.

The school asks fans to wear navy or green Wolfpack gear; apparel will be sold near the gym entry from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Games kick off at 3 p.m., when the freshman boys’ and girls’ teams take the court. Junior varsity games begin at 4:30 p.m.; the girls’ varsity game starts at 6 p.m. and the boys’ varsity tip-off is at 8 p.m.
